for each country that you want to consider. Current per capita energy use is calculated. You also can enter a desired per
capita energy goal. The population and total energy use of the future year will be calculated.
The table is currently populated with the top 8 energy users in 2011 and the 6 most
populous countries. The future per capita energy use is based on the idea that low energy users increase their use and
high energy users decrease theirs. A value of 130 GJ/person is selected to be the idea sustainable number
that provides for a reasonably high quality of life.
If you don't want to use all the rows, make sure there are zeros in each column.
You can also use groups of countries. For example, build the table by continent or
by quartile HDI (from Figure 3.1 and 3.2).
